Democracy through the prism of 2001. Before and after
Main Article Content
Abstract
The article seeks to revisit the meanings of 2001 in recent history, focusing on a temporality proper to the crisis. This temporality is related to the forms of a destituting power articulated in different organizations and initiatives, such as the piquetero movement, the assemblies, the forms of justice of the escraches, the popular pots, etc. The questions that are addressed in the text are, among others, what happened to the community figures in the years of the Kirchnerist governments, what were the memories of 2001, and how politics "from below" are activated in the scenario of a new crisis and the reappearance of the "let them all go", but this time as a framework for the rise of the right wing.
